Cropsey CSA Memberships

What is a CSA Program?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. When you purchase a CSA share you are, in essence, becoming a stakeholder in the farm. Being part of a CSA is a community investment in the success of a farm and the sustained existence of local small-scale agriculture.

CSA shareholders buy shares in advance of the growing season to help finance the costs of farming. That money is used to help buy seeds, maintain equipment, pay salaries for the farm crew, as well as keep the lights on and the coolers running. In return, you are guaranteed a share of the farm's harvest. If there are hardships that season (weather, critters, etc), the quantity or quality of the harvest may be affected; however, if the farm does well, you will share in that bounty!

2024 CSA Membership Options

In 2023 we changed our veg and meat CSA model to a spend-down membership.

It's still a CSA at heart; members pre-pay in the winter for produce available during the growing season.

This model gives you ULTIMATE FLEXIBILITY in what, when, and how much you buy!

We are keeping this model for 2024 with the only change being the merging of Veggie and Meat shares into 1 CSA Market Card with different amount options, and 2 Flower CSA options.

Members then come shop or pick their flowers during our open market hours, which in 2024 we are planning on THURSDAY, FRIDAY, and SATURDAY hours.

Examples of produce from our fields available seasonally:

Spring - lettuces, peas, salad greens, carrots, radishes, herbs

Summer - tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, lettuce, carrots, beets, zucchini, string beans

Fall - winter squash, pumpkins, carrots, greens, cabbage, parsnips

Our store is also stocked with vintage finds, antiques, and gifts! (not 10% discount eligible)

Cropsey CSA Memberships Options:
Market Card - $350, $700, $950

Flower Bouquet CSA - $250 for 10 weeks

Upick Flower CSA - $350 for full season

See below for all the details of each membership.
